ISS published the study on the Serbian construction industry sector


Yesterday's presentation of the study "Overview of the Serbian Construction Industry Sector Covered by European Regulation (EU) 305/2011 and Expected Impact on Industry", published by the Institute for Standardization of Serbia (ISS) in cooperation with the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (UNMZ), as well as the panel discussion that followed, drew a lot of attention from representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, public companies in the field of construction, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises in this field. In the presence of more than 40 participants, the panel discussion and presentation of the study was officially opened by Tatjana Bojanić, ISS Director, after which the study was presented by Dejana Milinković, the author of the study.


During the panel discussion, the panelists discussed about the results of mapping, sizing and structure of the construction industry sector in Serbia, key indicators of the volume of the construction products market, as well as operational recommendations for the sustainable implementation of harmonized standards. This discussion also included the panelists Ivana Vuletić from the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Secretary of the Association for the Construction Industry, and Biljana Ilić, Head of the Certification Body of the IMS Institute.
