Embassy of Czech Republic in Belgrade hosting a one-day seminar for ISS NTC members

Following the one-day training for ISS NTC Secretaries, within the scope of Czech Development Cooperation Program „Aid for Trade in Serbia – Project „Support for Improvement and Development of Serbian Quality Infrastructure“, on February 1st 2019, Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (UNMZ) and Institute for Standardization of Serbia (ISS) organized a one-day seminar for the ISS NTC members. The seminar was held in the premises of the Embassy of Czech Republic in Belgrade.

 

Czech Ambassador, Mr. Tomas Kuchta, first addressed the audience which consisted of more than 120 ISS NTC members, talking about the Project „Aid for Trade in Serbia“, and then Mrs. Tatjana Bojanić, ISS Director greeted the participants emphasizing that UNMZ and ISS have long-term fruitful cooperation.  

 

Mr. Miroslav Chloupek, UNMZ First Deputy President (External Relations and Economy Section), presented the goals of the Project. Also, the participants had the opportunity to hear firsthand about the Czech experience in their involvement in the development of European and International standards, from Ms. Zdena Slana, ČAS Director of Standards Dpt. and Mr. Stefan Krebs, Advisor to the Director & Manager of European projects.
